About · Construction consultant & general contractor, Victoria BC Matt Kinnee.

I’ve spent more than 30 years on construction sites across Southern Vancouver Island, framing, renovating, restoring heritage homes and running projects as a superintendent and general contractor.

Kinnee Contracting Ltd. is based in Victoria, BC. We’ve done kitchens and bathrooms, heritage restorations, additions and commercial work, always with qualified, insured tradespeople and sub-trades I trust.

After 30+ years I’ve learned that the projects that go well have a few things in common: a clear quote, the right permits, every change agreed in writing, and a site that’s ready before the crew shows up. Now I help homeowners and site teams get those things right from the start, through one-on-one consulting and the same field templates I use myself.

“Very happy with Kinnee Contracting’s work, both in terms of quality and price. Also, Matt, the principal, his crew and his sub-trades are all very pleasant to work with. Happy to recommend any and all of them!”
