Heritage work takes a different approach
Old houses need specialized knowledge. We preserve original features such as woodwork, stained glass and mouldings, and repair or replace them with period-appropriate materials where needed. We also bring foundations, electrical and plumbing up to code without spoiling what makes the house worth keeping.
Where a home is designated or in a heritage area, we work with the municipality’s heritage requirements from the start.

A charming 1912 house in Oak Bay, renovated to keep its character while making it work for modern family life. We restored original mouldings and flooring, improved the layout and added energy-efficient systems.
Past work: 1949 Art Deco-inspired bungalow
Taken down to the studs to connect indoor and outdoor living. We opened the plan to bring in natural light and added bi-fold doors to a new deck, while keeping the home’s original architectural details.
