★★★★★“We would recommend Matt and his team in a heartbeat. We engaged Kinnee Contraction on a fairly extensive renovation: down to the studs, new plumbing, wiring, furnace, gas, hot water heater, safe and sound insulation throughout and all of the finishing. Matt’s relationships with top notch subcontractors resulted in the kitchen of our dreams, a fully renovated basement and a home we love. The details are too many to list, but I think our biggest takeaway was the level of trust we had in Kinnee to do the right thing and make the right decisions. They orchestrated the whole thing, fielded our many questions and always worked hard to alleviate all concerns – – all while maneuvering through COVID’s issues of supply and demand and resourcing. Our home is exactly what we imagined when starting out with them. Matt and his team are talented people that you can trust.”
★★★★★“We used Kinnee Contracting to renovate our bathroom. They were awesome!!! They showed up when they said they would, they promptly communicated about what was going on and were quick to respond to emails. The job was completed within a reasonable amount of time and all the work was very well done. Throughout the reno they checked in to ensure we were happy with the work. They also were very competitively priced and completed the job on budget. They were a dream!! I have given their name out to a few people who have used my bathroom. They comment on the reno and ask who did the work. They are so impressed with it. We will definitely use Kinnee Contracting again to renovate our kitchen. Great company to work with!!”
★★★★★“Matt and his crew at Kinnee Contracting have been my go-to for several years, and they never disappoint. They are always reliable, professional, and get the job done right. Whether big or small, every project has been handled with great attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy contractor!”
★★★★★“I’ve known Matt for years and have used him in the past for a few small projects. When it came time to organize the foundation and framing for my garden suite, using another contractor didn’t even enter my mind. Matt is a clear communicator, a good listener, and very reliable with great attention to detail. The cost of his work was very close to his quote, and I could not be happier with the finished product. If you’re reading this and considering hiring Kinnee Contracting, don’t even waste your time calling anyone else. I absolutely recommend Matt and Kinnee Contracting. He does not disappoint!”
★★★★★“Matt and his team at Kinnee Contracting have been a pleasure to deal with. They took the care and attention that our heritage rebuild required. It was a complex project that required a true builder with a keen eye for detail, and the experience to make our vision a reality. The project required everything from blasting rock so we could do our addition, to the matching of very detailed existing trim, as well as building a complex roofline on our new dormer. Matt was always two steps ahead of any unexpected details. He stuck to the schedule and was very budget conscious every step of the way. As well, his staff and sub trades all share his values of quality workmanship. He really cares about his customers and the project in general. We feel fortunate that we had Kinnee contracting on our challenging build and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Matt and thanks to your stellar team!!”
★★★★★“It was a great experience working with Matt Kinnee and his team. We appreciated his calm demeanour when it came to helping make the best choices for our renovation. He has a professional approach in everything he does and truly seems to care about the success of the project. While we were challenged through a period of Covid in terms of timeline, Matt did what he could when he could to keep things on track. Since we were still living in part of the home, Matt was always concerned about our comfort, safety and well being. The fact that one of us was an “out of town” owner would have made many contractors “cringe” but Matt took it in stride and always worked in our best interests.”
★★★★★“Matt & his team helped us with a major kitchen renovation- removed two walls and gutted old kitchen. Everything went extremely well. All the communication was fast and smooth and all the different trades people we had over were great to work with too. We really appreciate the transformation and are so happy with our final result. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kinnee Contacting to anyone who wants the job done right! Thanks Matt! 👍😊”
★★★★★“I’ve hired Kinnee Contracting to do a variety of commercial projects. Matt and his team are friendly, responsive, and efficient. Matt will review your job and think of your best interests by offering creative ways to potentially save money and to ensure the longevity of the final product. I highly recommend Matt and his team!”
★★★★★“Everyone at Kinnee Contracting who worked on my renovation project was top notch. Matt and his crew did excellent work. They worked efficiently, were professional and very friendly. And, a fantastic result. I’m very happy with the work and would recommend them anytime.”
★★★★★“We hired Matt and his team to do a separate entryway in our garage and we are so pleased with the results! Matt is a very thorough professional who takes a lot of care in his clients’ needs, making the entire experience a great one. If we ever need any more building/renovation services in the future, Matt will definitely be the first person we call!”
★★★★★“Matt and his team recently completed phase one of a large renovation on our home in North Saanich, which included a full kitchen remodeling, den, lighting upgrades, flooring and trim throughout our 30 year old home. His team was always abundantly professional, on time and on budget despite todays challenges with global supply chain delays and labor shortages caused by the pandemic. Overall, we are pleased with the transformation of our space that was completed with minimal disruption to our day to day lives. We look forward to utilizing Kinnee Contracting for remodeling of our bathrooms in the future. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matt and his team for any renovation solutions.”
★★★★★“Very pleased and satisfied with the work performed by Matt and his team. They modified some internal kitchen walls for a new kitchen and open space, modified plumbing and electrical services, prepared a concrete patio and built a new cedar fence for us. They coordinated other contractors, where required and kept the work site clean. They communicated concerns and issues with us when they occurred and were always polite, professional, considerate when working. We found them open minded to changes and additions and easy to work with. There pricing and estimate was reasonable and generally came in under budget. We would not hesitate to work with them again. ★★★★★“We have a two bedroom condo in the Oak Bay area of Victoria. It was built in the 1980s and needed several changes in order to allow more functionality in modern times. Matt and his crew worked with us to plan the best route to accomplish what we needed. They were also patient with us regarding several annoying add-ons as the job progressed. All Kinnee workers approached their work in a very professional manner including clean up as needed when their work was done each day. Kinnee Contracing provides good work in a fair, ethical, businesslike manner. They demonstrated that they value their relationships with their customers.”
★★★★★“Matt and his team are craftsmen, with a meticulous eye for detail. They went above and beyond for us during our home renovation – willing to get their hands dirty to ensure that the project as a whole could move forward. Always kept a tidy, well-maintained job site, and a personable attitude.”
